Jean Dawson Shares His striking Self-Directed Documentary “Burnout”

Today, the experimental pop polymath shares his striking documentary, BURNOUT. Directed and conceived by Jean, the visual serves as an intimate self-portrait, chronicling his life and the world he has created that has garnered a cult following. Lined with Blade Runner-esque visual effects and a music score by frequent collaborator Zach Fogarty, BURNOUT captures a more vulnerable side of Jean, where he expresses his doubts, fears and hopes with a rawness and authenticity not often seen. The video is an extension of his most recent critically acclaimed album, PIXEL BATH, which piloted listeners to wild and dizzying heights, putting forth a beautiful and stirring exploration of masculinity and identity and solidified Jean as the future of music.
