adidas Skateboarding unveils the second installment of its Fucking Awesome (FA) collaborative collection, a dual-season apparel and footwear series masterminded by FA founder Jason Dill. Fusing the eclectic aesthetic of the renowned skate label with adidas’ heritage design, the capsule arrives with a wide range of unique concept pieces that spark the imagination.
Inspired by American vintage workwear, sportswear and adidas’ iconic archival silhouettes – the latest iteration features a fishing jacket and pants set. A fresh take on performance fishing gear equipped with Taffeta features, the set is accented with custom adidas mountain and FA detailing, ClimaStorm pockets alongside a matching packable poncho and tote bag and hat to finish the fit.
Influenced by the Three Stripe brand’s deep roots of the 80s, the block tracksuit is reimagined with a custom FA World sewn badge and suiting pinstripes while maintaining classic adidas aesthetics throughout.
Energized by the sport of football of the same era, the jacquard jersey set is modernized with recycled polyester materials that integrates a FA repeater logo but preserves the quintessential serrated stripes — paying homage to kits of the past.
Guided by basketball and an American workwear staple, the technical pant is reconceptualized with lightweight performance Climalite fabric and a contrast Taffeta durable water repellent pocket overlaid with three stripes panels.
Rounding out the collection are two new colorway releases for the original sneaker models — Experiment 1 in crystal white/collegiate navy/collegiate royal and Experiment 2 in crystal white/chalk white/gold met.
The adidas Skateboarding x Fucking Awesome collection, which also includes a Tee and liner jacket, will be available for purchase on February 17th via fuckingawesomestore.com and February 20th via www.adidas.com/skateboarding with retail prices ranging from $55-$200 USD.
