Rising from her ashes, Perrion Roberts was one of Huntsville, Alabama’s most notorious queen pins– “the original queen of the south”. After serving time in prison and having turned her life around, Roberts gets to tell her side of the story during an electric episode of BET’s hit series, American Gangster: Trap Queens. Viewers get a first-hand look into the world of some of the most infamous female gangsters in the country. American Gangster: Trap Queens gives these women the platform to share their stories in the revealing crime genre. Narrated by rap royalty, Lil Kim, the second season streams exclusively on the BET + app, beginning on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Raw and unfiltered, Roberts shows the grittiness and the glamour of her life story as Alabama’s real-life trap queen and how she has completely turned her life around and now advocates for prison reform and social justice.
Continuing to share her story, Roberts plans to release her book Beyond a Dream in the coming months as a deeper dive into her rise, struggles, and triumph. The highly anticipated autobiography book is available for pre-order HERE.
