Love Renaissance (LVRN/Interscope Records) sprinkles some holiday flavor with DRAM aka Shelley & Young Rog’s rendition of “Feliz Navidad.” Directed by Andrew Donoho, LVRN’s crooners deliver a reimagined feel-good version of José Feliciano’s 1970 classic. Recording inside a festive studio adorned by Christmas trees, Rog and Shelley’s effortless feathery vocals inject enough soul to set the Christmas mood. Watch HERE.
Ahead of Thanksgiving, LVRN released their first-ever Christmas collective offering with Home For The Holidays. The nine-track effort features several classic Christmas renditions such as “This Christmas” and “Chestnuts Roasting,” along with three skits headlined by Kitty Ca$h, and Summer Walker’s wintry video for “Santa Baby.” In addition to Walker and 6LACK, LVRN’s young signees OMB Bloodbath, Eli Derby, and Young Rog also appear on the project. The album is executive produced by Lisa McCall, with production helmed by Slim Wav and Rogét Chahayed.
LVRN continues to be focused on giving back this season with their artistry and influence. Just last Sunday (Nov. 22), LVRN and Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation teamed up with the Everyone Eats Foundation for their ‘Home For The Holidays: Thanksgiving drive-thru event’ feeding thousands of Atlanta families a pre-packaged Thanksgiving meal safely and according to COVID-19 guidelines.
