On October 20-21, 2020, Amazon will host its first-ever virtual career fair intentionally focused on professionals from the Black, Latinx, and Native American communities called “Represent the Future, Success is Inclusive.”
The summit is designed to give an inside look at Amazon’s global business ecosystem, customer-obsessed culture of diversity and inclusion, and the role innovation, invention, and intrapreneurship play in building the future. Black, Latinx, and Native American leaders and employees from Amazon will share what it’s like to work there and why representation and authenticity are central to the company’s mission. Amazon recruiters and hiring managers will also share insights about current job opportunities, the application and interview process, in addition to the company’s culture through a series of virtual panels, fireside chats and two-way dialogue-driven sessions.
Programming will include:
- “Representation matters: Your story raises the bar” – a panel discussing personal branding, resume-writing tips, and interview advice.
- “Amazon in the community: Activating our scale for good” – a panel showcasing how Amazon takes an innovative approach to collaborative partnerships in centering the needs of communities where employees live and work.
- “Come build an inclusive future with us” – Amazon.com launched in 1995 with a mission to be Earth’s most customer-centric company. Learn more about Amazon’s peculiar company culture, 14 Leadership Principles, tech and non-tech job opportunities, and the application, interview, and hiring process.
Attendees will also enjoy musical breaks featuring four time GRAMMY Award winning artist Questlove, Billboard chart topping DJs Nina Sky, R&B super group Chloe x Halle and more!
Registration is open for the free, two-day summit on a first come, first serve basis. You can learn more at AmazonRepresents.com.
