Spotify is continuing to celebrate the fifth anniversary of its flagship hip-hop playlist, RapCaviar, with the launch of the RapCaviar Day 1 Club microsite, a new digital experience that will allow fans to discover and prove which artists they have been supporting since day one. Hip hop fans are some of the most dedicated and competitive in the industry, powering artists to succeed from the ground up, and have been known to go harder for their favorite artists, especially when it comes to battling it out with a rival. So whether you started from the bottom with Drake or are one of Cardi B’s Bardigang, find out which artists such as Lil Baby, Nicki Minaj, Roddy Ricch, and more you’ve reppin’ since Day 1.
Through personal listening data available as part of the Day 1 Club experience, fans will be able to prove they were with their favorite artists “shootin’ in the gym” and discover which song they first streamed, their level of fandom, and how long they have been listening to their favorite artists. The interactive site will give fans the tools they need to duke it out with Gold, Platinum, and Diamond level status as a Day 1s and allow artists their bragging rights showing just how many and how deep their fans ride. And if you weren’t there since Day 1, the site will also share which artists you’ve supported the longest so no fan gets left behind.
Results can be shared to Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook with a personalized “Day 1 Club” share card where fans can prove, once and for all, which artist has the biggest fandom. Fans will also be able to prove they’ve been riding since day one by testing their knowledge with artists quizzes on social media.
You can stream RapCaviar on Spotify and find images and the embed code below. Hoping you can cover this news and perhaps join in by sharing your personal RapCaviar Day 1 Club share card on social.
