Mitchell & Ness Co. is teaming up with iconic Los Angeles based experiential retailer Fred Segal Sunset for an activation to pay homage to famed Los Angeles sports teams and athletes. The immersive pop-up featuring authentic apparel and limited collaborations launches today and will run through FW 2020.

Our Mitchell & Ness pop-up will feature authentic product collections and premium, limited collaborations – all through the lens of local, legendary sports teams,” said Kevin Wulff, CEO of Mitchell & Ness.
Combining the authenticity of Mitchell & Ness’s vintage apparel with Fred Segal’s rich history in pop culture, this activation will offer an unmatched experience in throwback sportswear. The pop-up will showcase special Mitchell & Ness collaborations with Dr. Woo, Greg Lucci, Blends, Sports Illustrated, Slam and Topps and launch with a Just Don release and other limited collections detailed below. Additional product drops exclusive to Fred Segal Sunset and Mitchell & Ness (via mitchellandness.com or @mitchellandness) will launch throughout the pop-up’s duration.
- Just Don Shorts (Limited Release): Designed & tailored in the USA with imported premium materials, Mitchell & Ness’ collaboration with iconic Chicago-bred designer Don C puts a luxurious, modern spin on retro NBA shorts.
- Airbrush Collection: The Airbrush Collection features a custom print over Mitchell & Ness’ signature swingman jersey silhouette with an added tackle twill front logo for an authentic feel.
- Team USA Collection: The ’92 USA Basketball “Dream Team” is known as the greatest team ever assembled and now you can own a piece of history from this Mitchell & Ness collection.
To bring an additional element of inimitability, Mitchell & Ness has joined forces with LA-based designer and customization master Drx Romanelli to create one-of-a-kind display pieces – featuring cut-up football jerseys – for the space.
