Roc Nation recording artist Casanova is one of Brooklyn’s emerging street lyricist. He recently released his latest single “Stress,” the follow-up to his popular single “D&D.” Unapologetic for being vulnerable yet raw in his lyrics, Casanova gives the brash reality of his internal battles despite the many blessings he has received in “Stress.” It is the mental battle of the struggles of his past, realizing how much he has overcome while experiencing the ups and downs on the road to success. Although blessed, it seems like the stress of life is inevitable.
Casanova’s vibrant personality and his ability to be open about his past while standing in his truth have allowed him to build a following of supporters along his journey. His unfiltered aggressive rap-style is owed to the pain of his experiences growing up on the streets of Brooklyn and realizing that his purpose is bigger than his music. A walking testimony that your past does not dictate your future, Cas, the transformed man with Afro-Panamanian and Jamaican roots is a force to be reckoned with.
