When Razor launched in 2000, the brand took the world by storm, quickly becoming the household name for kick scooters across the globe. Since then, the brand has innovated to create an array of essential, design-forward wheeled rides that get you where you want to go in the coolest and funnest way possible — from hoverboards, to skateboards, to electric scooters, and more.
Now, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, Razor announced its latest plans to kickstart scooter culture and design to the next level as it unveils its first-ever limited-edition collaboration series. The Razor collaboration series will push scooter visual stylings and colorways to never-before-seen levels, infusing Razor’s design edge to bring the essence and personality of hip, cultural brands to a new medium.
AriZona Iced Tea, Sharpie, Sriracha, and Takis, will be the first four brands to be featured in the Razor collaboration series, with each one dropping at select Target locations, Target.com, and Razor.com later this summer. More details on the look and feel of each themed scooter — and the drop date — will be unveiled on Razor and each featured brand’s social media platforms over the next few weeks. Taking wheeled rides to cool, new heights, each limited-edition Razor collaboration scooter will only beavailable while supplies last.
“We’re thrilled to launch this first-ever special collaboration series with brands that align with Razor’s values,” said Jim Wagner, President of Razor USA. “AriZona Iced Tea, Sharpie, Sriracha, and Takis are culturally influential brands that represent more than just their respective products. They’re lifestyle, household names that inspire joy, exhilaration, and creativity. Nearly every consumer in America has a fond summertime memory involving these brands, and we aim to exude that emotion with these exclusive designs.”
Created with each brand’s passionate fans in mind, the pop culture staples will be uniquely represented through creative art that pushes the boundaries of design for Razor. From the packaging to the wheels, the scooter deck to the T-bar, the designs are a complete overhaul of what consumers have come to know when thinking of kick scooters.
