&pizza and Breakaway Music Festival will host a virtual Hero Concert series to raise funding for and celebrate hospital workers on the frontline of COVID-19 through &pizza’s Hero Pie Program.
The series will feature new artists each week and is sponsored by Local Now.
Since the onset of the national crisis, &pizza’s Hero Pie Program has provided free pies to hospital workers across the east coast, providing over 30,000 pizzas thus far to those risking their lives to save others.
Kicking off on April 30th at 8 PM ET, fans can stream their favorite artists while dedicating themselves to a good cause. An in-stream promotion of the Hero Pie Program will easily allow donations – of which 100% is contributed to the production and delivery of free pizzas to hospital workers. This first concert will be powered by Transmit.Live and streamed on Twitter, as well as on &pizza, Breakaway, and Dancing Astronaut’s social pages and across all artist’s social pages.
Featuring Julia Cole, Loud Luxury, Bryce Vine, and Kid Quill, the first Hero Concert will be hosted by &pizza’s Michael Lastoria, Breakaway’s Adam Lynn and Zach Ruben, artist Julia Cole, and Dancing Astronaut’s Senthil Chidambaram.
The set list is as follows:
8:10 PM ET – Loud Luxury
8:50 PM ET – Kid Quill
9:30 PM ET – Bryce Vine
To encourage viewers to participate in the Hero Pie Program, any individual that purchases a pie for a hospital worker during the show will qualify to win pizza for life from &pizza, with a new winner announced each week. To donate in the meantime, text #feedthem to 200-03.
