Singer, songwriter Bartón released his new track, “Fan” on Friday. On the Colleagues-produced track, Bart croons over the ambient, modern-yet-classic soundscape, turning the tables on infatuation.
“‘Fan’ is actually my very first song ever recorded, during a stay in Atlanta back in 2018,” Bart explains on the new track. “It was around the time I began to accumulate a plethora of actual fans from being on ‘The Chi’ at the time.”
Released on the eve of his birthday, the intoxicating slowburner is the first offering of 2020 from the Chicago creative. “FAN” is available for streaming/purchase everywhere now.
Bartón Fitzpatrick, also known as Bartón, is an actor and R&B craftsman originally from Chicago’s southside. His ascent to super stardom began after landing the role of “Reggie” on season one and two of the critically acclaimed Showtime hit series, The Chi, before which he could be found on popular TV dramas Chicago P.D., Chicago Justice and Chicago Med. Bart was prominently featured on Lee Daniel’s groundbreaking hip hop TV drama, Empire, and, most recently, landed a starring role in the brand new Netflix comedy, White People Money. With seasoned acting savvy, coupled with his newly presented songwriting chops, Bartón is poised for multi-dimensional superstardom.
