For Sneakersnstuff’s one year anniversary of its Venice Beach Store, SNS is celebrating with a collaboration with the company that is synonymous with Southern California lifestyle – Vans. SNS and Vans Vault worked together to design an OG Classic Slip-On LX and the OG Era LX, that stylistically pay homage to Venice beach and the culture and history that encompasses it.
The history of Venice Beach is a notorious one, a place where creatives and artists flourished in the 1960’s and 70’s and the birthplace of skateboarding in the 80’s that coincided with a punk explosion that enveloped the beach and boardwalk into the 90’s. The design of the Vault by Vans x SNS “Venice Beach Pack” is a nod to that time – the late 80’s and 90’s and what skaters, surfers and punks were wearing.
Both the OG Classic Slip-On LX and the OG Era LX feature the iconic checkerboard print in bright neon colorways and unique SNS graphics along the sidewall as Vans has done so well over the years, in addition to the OG Vans Off the Wall logo on the heel. Some more design details on the Vans OG models include: a slim fitted shape utilizing the original period correct upper patterns, the iconic outsole undercut with hand tooled details and tightly wrapped rubberized textile foxing, long lasting thick outsole, original spec sticky rubber and sidewall sealing wipe. The OG build is as always, original design, original quality and crafted the original way.
The Vault by Vans x SNS “Venice Beach Pack” will be available online at Sneakersnstuff.com beginning April 4, 2020.
