Today, Reebok launched the new Origins Pack, which features new signature Allen Iverson sneakers, by announcing that the brand will cover all college application fees for the rising senior class of Bethel High, the alma mater of the NBA legend. Iverson and the brand will also give students nationwide the opportunity to have their application fees covered. Featuring classic Iverson silhouettes like the Answer V and Question Mid, the Origins Pack honors Iverson’s high school and college with both its colorways and its commitment to the next generation of game changers.

Iverson credits his high school to college journey as putting him on the path to reaching incredible heights in sport and culture. When Reebok and Iverson first conceived the Origins Pack, they understood that the best way to celebrate this moment in Iverson’s life was to give a new generation the opportunity to change the game, just as Iverson did.
“Nothing should limit you from applying to any school you want to consider,” said Allen Iverson. “By working with Reebok to cover the application costs of rising seniors at Bethel High, I want the next generation of game changers to see college as a route to success, whether they want to be an artist or a doctor.”
This morning, Bethel High School surprised the Class of 2021 with a personal video from Iverson and Reebok announcing the program, and as well as sneakers for the rising seniors.

“I speak on behalf of the students, their families and the Hampton community when I say we are filled with gratitude from this Reebok donation,” said Ralph Saunders, Principal at Bethel High. “Allen Iverson is an integral part of this town, and we’re thrilled he continues to honor and support the school and community.”
In addition to the Bethel announcement, Reebok will give select students nationwide the same opportunity to have their college application fees covered. Starting today, rising seniors can apply HERE by submitting 200 words or less on how the coverage of their college applications will enable them to reach their full potential and aspirations.
“Bethel High was an institution that nurtured a young Bubba-Chuck and set him on the path to becoming a cultural icon on and off the court,” said Todd Krinsky, SVP, GM, Reebok Product. “It’s deeply rewarding to help the Bethel rising senior class, as well as students across the country, by removing the barrier of college application fees. We only hope to inspire the next generation forge their own game-changing legacy, just like Iverson.”

At the center of this announcement is the new Origins Pack. Featuring the Answer V and Question Mid, Reebok’s archival basketball silhouettes have been reimagined to serve as a heartfelt tribute to Iverson’s alma mater. The Answer V, Iverson’s signature sneaker, is paired with the vibrant colorways of Bethel High School, including a forest green, mustard yellow and midnight black. The new Question Mid recalls Iverson’s college days, featuring signature Hexalite cushioning frame in the midsole, along with the iconic navy blue and grey colorways of Iverson’s university. As part of the “Heart of Hustle” series, which highlights notable aspects of Iverson’s life story. The Answer V retails for $140 and the Question Mid for $150; they are now available on Reebok.com and across the Foot Locker Inc. family of brands (Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports).
