Vance Fundora was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Mother from Texas and Father from Havana, Cuba. Vance went on to attend Fort Worth, Everman, as well as Mansfield ISD during his elementary, middle, and high-school years to aid his education as a child.
Vance has always been an entrepreneur at heart. At age 9, he mowed lawns, helped run a food truck, and fixed personal computers for quick cash.
During high school, his usual side hustles no longer made the cut. He said, “mowing lawns required too much time for too little money.” So Vance entered the business of buying, selling, and trading sneakers. He sometimes profited hundreds of dollars a week as a high school student. Even at 15, Vance understood the importance of reinvesting, so he put every dollar he earned back into his business.
Qualifying For Success
After high school graduation Vance went on to attend Texas Tech University to study computer engineering, but during his sophomore year, he changed his course of study to marketing.
Vance made this decision based on the understanding of how social media could be used as leverage to scale a brand or business. “I love math, science, and technology, but social media and the internet are completely revolutionizing the way consumers interact with businesses.” Vance launched his digital marketing agency in his sophomore year. During his senior year in 2018, he scaled it up to a six-figure company while remaining a full-time student at Texas Tech University.
Vance graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech University in December 2018.
