This past spring, Idris Elba set the Yuma Tent at Coachella on fire with the debut of “Ballie” featuring Nigeria’s #1 streaming female artist KAH-LO. Now, the song has been reignited for dance floors everywhere today (March 6) with a fresh take from bass-house producer DESTRUCTO.

Available on Elba’s London-based label 7Wallace, DESTRUCTO takes a dark twist on the track that fuses hip-hop and house—otherwise known as g-house which is what the producer is known for. The pair met at DESTRUCTO’s All My Friends music festival this past fall which brought him into the fold for the remix. Other recent DESTRUCTO releases include Walker & Royce and SQWAD remixes of his track with Yo Gotti, “Loaded” and “Twisted” which samples Mobb Deep’s “Got It Twisted” from their 2004 album Amerikaz Nightmare.
