Reebok has just revealed a brand new collaboration with fashion brand KANGHYUK. Designed as a continuation of Reebok Premier Running—a high performance running line which was released from 2005 to 2010—the sneaker incorporates different elements and gestures from past Premiere Running shoes into a contemporary design.
The two brands previously came together as part of Reebok’s Advanced Concepts Sole Fury Capsule Series in 2019, which saw KANGHYUK design the Sole Fury with pieces of airbags patch-worked together randomly over three layers. The shoes sold out within minutes.
The Premiere Running variant black colorway references a car tire, which further ties into KANGHYUK’s overarching theme of using airbags for their designs.
The KANGHYUK x Reebok collaboration will be available in FW20 in a limited run.
