Uneek Music labelmates of the late legend Nipsey Hussle, OSBS (the rap duo comprised of D5 and Smokeone) grappled with the pain of losing their partner in the midst of a dramatic rise to stardom last year, touring with Gunna and Wiz Khalifa. Now in 2020, OSBS has channeled that loss into a stronger motivation to win, something that their frequent collaborator Lil Baby can relate to.
In their new video together for single “Fall Back,” the Atlanta voice behind hits like “Drip Too Hard” sounds perfectly balanced alongside the smooth L.A. realness of OSBS, and the video has enough eye candy to make you hit repeat a few hundred times..
Although both Smokeone and D5 were born and raised in Los Angeles, the influence of Atlanta on their sound has not gone unnoticed. Their break-out hit featuring 2 Chainz, “I Know,” had an undeniable chemistry that’s spawned over 1,000,000 Spotify streams since its release. Now this latest OSBS collab with Lil Baby shares another level of that energy, as the three artists speak on life struggles that make them take a step back to re-evaluate, and the good times that are always just around the corner.
