FACS Share New Song via Adult Swim Singles

Adult Swim Singles have just shared a new song from Chicago experimental rock trio FACS as the fifteenth entry in the 2019-2020 program. “Alone Without” represents yet another phase in the ever evolving group, trading their established claustrophobic angularity for a sprawling minimalist expanse. The hypnotic effect is enhanced by the deep-pocketed dual drumming of Noah Leger and Alianna Kalaba (who switched over from bass for the song), laying the foundation for vocalist/guitarist Brian Case’s mantra-esque incantations and wide-angle atmospherics. Recorded just last month, “Alone Without” offers insight as to where the trio might head next after their impending new album Void Moments (which was recorded prior and is out March 27 on Trouble In Mind).
