In 2015 Wiz Khalifa put a cap on his acclaimed mixtape trilogy with the release of “Cabin Fever 3”. Garnering over 15 million collective streams over the last 4 years, it’s widely considered one of the most successful mixtape runs to-date.
The 11-track tape is laden with big names and doesn’t fail to disappoint from the jump. Starting off in big fashion, “Respect” features Juicy J & K Camp, with TM88 behind the boards, and really sets the tone for the entire project. Other stand-outs include “Call Again”, with Rostrum Records artist Problem and the legendary Easy Mo Bee on production, “Prequel”, with long-time friend and collaborator Curren$y, and “Gangster 101”, that sees Wiz using his wordplay to dance in and out of Sonny Digital’s production while King Los verbally-jabs the track in double-time fashion. Also featured are Juicy J, Project Pat, Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz and Kevin Gates. While Sonny handles most of the production on the tape, he also brings in DP Beats on the Chevy Woods assisted “Freak Dips”.
Adding to his already impressive streaming catalog, “CB3” is the missing cherry on top for Wiz that has all the flavor you remember from its initial release 4 years ago. Big beats, good rhymes, no seeds, good vibes, and a whole lot of plane talk!
