Today, TIDAL released a collection of 500+ new “Now Playing” playlists curated by artists from around the world featuring music they are currently listening to. Established musicians like Tory Lanez, Anderson .Paak, 2Chainz and Ty Dolla $ign as well as rising artists like Kash Doll and Rich the Kid have created playlists as a gift to TIDAL members. Members and non-members alike can search an interactive hub for an artist’s playlist and for specific songs featured in a “Now Playing” playlist on TIDAL.com/NowPlaying.
Highlights include:
Dave East: Nipsey Hussle, Benny the Butcher, Nas, Snoop
Ty Dolla $ign: Jhene Aiko, Big Sean, J. Cole, YG, Mustard
Kash Doll: Wale, Chris Brown, Saweetie, Lil Baby, Rick Ross, Big Sean, City Girls, Meg Thee Stallion
TIDAL members will be matched with specific artist playlists based upon their own listening habits. To further promote music discovery, users will be able to see playlists from artists who have similar tastes before exploring the wider collection. New members can receive a playlist match upon interaction with the app.
