$tupid Young Collaborator MBNel Proves He Isn’t “Regular” In New Video Ahead Of ‘Born To Win’ Album, Featuring Mozzy, TeeJay3K & More

Stockton, California’s MBNel has released his latest music video “Regular,” the third release and focus track to his forthcoming project Born To Win, via Bay Area gatekeeper EMPIRE, due out this Friday, November 15. The new visual, directed by Mike Wilds, opens with MBNel riding through his hometown of Stockton, with the beat dropping and him proclaiming he isn’t “regular,” having faced a multitude of close-call and gritty life experiences. Throughout the video, the rapper is surrounded by his close friends, with quick cuts to neighbors rapping and vibing along to the track. On “Regular,” Nel also touches on wanting to chase his dreams and make a better life for himself, despite support from those close by and his tough living conditions growing up.

“Regular” follows MBNel’s first-look Born To Win releases “Dear Jhené,” an ode to his unborn daughter, released on October 18 (nearing 330K views on YouTube and 180K streams on Spotify) and his November 4 HYPEBEAST premiere “Euro Step” (nearing 140K views on YouTube and 30K streams on Spotify).

In addition to an upcoming joint project with Long Beach’s $tupid Young, entitled The Yellow Tape 2, Nel’s upcoming 15-track album Born To Win, is set to feature Bay Area rappers Mozzy and Lil Bean, and Florida artists TeeJay3k and Lil Poppa. Prior to his impending release, where Nel intends to expand his sound, the rapper garnered major success with his biggest hit “In My City” (over 5.5M views and 1.8M streams) and his $tupid Young collaborative effort “On Me” (over 5M views and 1.5M streams).
