Last Monday, Roc Nation recording artist, WavesOnGianni, hosted his first-ever youth baseball clinic at The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club alongside professional baseball player Stephen Alemais of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. The two showcased their professional skills and offered words of encouragement to over 50 kids in the Bronx neighborhood. WavesOnGiani, who currently plays on his high school team in NYC, has always held a special passion for the sport.
“It means a lot to me to be able to give back to the kids and provide a baseball clinic where they can learn some new skills and meet some new friends. Baseball is my heart, so helping other kids like me get better at the sport means the world to me”, WavesOnGianni stated.
Ending the clinic on a high note, WavesOnGianni and Stephen sat with the children to share their stories and journey with the sport, signed personalized baseballs and player cards as well as took photos with each young athlete.

Last month, WavesOnGianni dropped the first song from his debut EP called “Houdini”. The video premiered on Lyrical Lemonade and received a great response. The positive feedback prompted Gianni’s second single release with the catchy track “Need A Mop“ with the video premiering on BET and No Jumper. On Monday, WavesOnGianni released his debut project “The Heartbreak Kid“, featuring six songs – Houdini, Hey Boo, Need A Mop, Only One, Myself and Stop Calling.
