Platinum-selling rapper Lil Baby releases new track “Toast Up” with Doritos “Spark the Beat” winners Ali Tomineek and Rashad “Shad on the Beat” Jackson. As Lil Baby fans await the new album, they can bump his latest record on their DSP of choice.
Ali and Rashad set themselves apart in the Doritos “Spark the Beat” competition as the top lyricist and producer, respectively, and won a chance to record in-studio with Lil Baby. The two young artists have been establishing themselves and earning praise for their talents.
Prior to winning the Doritos “Spark the Beat” competition, Ali participated in a Bet Hip Hop Awards cypher in 2017 while Rashad received credits from the likes of Chief Keef, Glo Gang and Capital T. You can check out their winning submissions here.
Doritos continues to celebrate hip hop roots as this is the second year in a row that the brand has partnered with a rap star to recognize up-and-coming talent in the music industry. Last year, Busta Rhymes selected the winner of “Blaze the Beat” with the five finalists performing on-stage with Wiz Khalifa at the Life is Beautiful Festival.
