Last night, Denzel Curry announced the continuation of Red Bull Zeltron World Wide, created with the Florida rapper. Named after Curry’s alter ego Zeltron, the four-part event series kicked off as part of Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta and will continue into 2020 with three more stops: Miami, Oakland, and New York City.
Envisioned by Curry and brought to life together with Red Bull, the unique show format welcomes the freshest vanguards of hip-hop into a custom-built wrestling ring to go head-to-head for a five-round bout of next-level lyricism and showmanship.
The concept originally came to life with Red Bull in 2018 with the debut of Zeltron vs. Zombies in Miami, where Curry went head-to-head against New York rap troupe, Flatbush Zombies for an unforgettable showcase of punk style, lyrical brinkmanship. Now dubbed Zeltron World Wide, the format returned last night in Atlanta, bringing Curry into the ring against New York’s own Joey Bada$$.
Tickets and line up for the Miami stop coming soon.
