Today, rapper NGeeYL (pronounced “en-gee-why-el”) releases new project Hiatus via 300 Entertainment. NGee got his start by turning to an old passion, rapping, to build a new identity. Growing up in Spartanburg, S.C., he’d spend hours freestyling about his experiences on the street, vowing to never water down the truth. It’s a mantra he still follows today when he enters the booth; each bar is a gritty portrayal of his life as a young kingpin, bound for glory but also trouble which he makes evident on this project. With appearances from Valee and Young Nudy, NGeeYL stays true to his trademarked gritty sound.
In addition to cosigns from the likes of 21 Savage and Playboi Carti, NGee has also gained made fans out of athletes across the nation including Zion Williamson, Diandre Hopkins, JJ Arcega, and more!
