On Wednesday afternoon, PUMA Basketball formally announced that it has signed Los Angeles Lakers standout Kyle Kuzma to a multiyear deal.
To officially welcome Kuzma to the PUMA Hoops family, the brand unveiled a custom Kuzma x PUMA billboard in downtown Los Angeles announcing his signing to the brand. Following the unveiling, Kuzma surprised fans at a pop-up taco truck near Canter’s Deli, where he handed out 400+ tacos and PUMA T-shirts and took pictures with fans in attendance. He joins fellow teammates DeMarcus Cousins and Danny Green as Lakers to represent the PUMA family.
The announcement of Kuzma’s signing comes on the heels of PUMA’s signing of the #3 overall draft pick and Knicks rookie, RJ Barrett. The two join PUMA’s growing roster of Hoops stars, which include Cousins, Green, Terry Rozier, Kevin Knox, Zhaire Smith, Rudy Gay, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jackie Young, Katie Lou Samuelson, Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley, Kevin Porter Jr. and Michael Porter Jr. Kuzma will be wearing PUMA’s newly debuted Clyde Hardwood sneakers on the court this coming season.
