On the heels of his acclaimed self-titled debut album release, GASHI has unveiled another strong visual for album track “Yesterday,” featuring Maxx Owa.
The genre-bending artist has been gracing the charts and logging significant streams, with notable collaborators including French Montana and G-Eazy appearing on his anticipated debut. The first single, “Safety,” with DJ Snake, instantly became the #1 most added song globally on Spotify (in 38 countries) and has since surpassed 12-million streams. To date, the album tracks have accumulated more than 400 million streams worldwide, with the album hitting the Top 5 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts and #2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers immediately upon release.
Born in Libya, GASHI spent much of his young life as a refugee, moving from country to country. His family eventually settled in Brooklyn, NY, where he was introduced to music at a very young age. Rooted in hip-hop, GASHI absorbed a melting pot of genres throughout his youth, resulting in the formation of his own unique sonic palette, and has since created a sound that sits in between pop, hip-hop, rap, and dance music. Numerous Billboard chart topping hits and millions of streams later, GASHI is ready to unleash his debut onto the world, only scratching the surface of what’s to come.
GASHI is out now on RCA records and available on all digital and steaming platforms.
