Today, multi-platinum superstar G-Eazy has released a brand new single, “I Wanna Rock” featuring Gunna.
The cinematic Halloween-esque visual was directed by Daniel CZ and takes cues from Gotham City and the Joker, opening with G-Eazy in a straitjacket where he masterminds the robbing of an armored truck before an ensuing high speed car chase and ultimately celebrates his new earnings with Gunna – all while delivering his signature flows over the track’s hard-hitting Boi 1da production.
G-Eazy and Boi 1da are frequent collaborators, with Boi 1da’s signature sound most notably featured on the 5x Platinum hit “No Limit” ft. A$AP Rocky & Cardi B, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
G-Eazy has spent much of 2019 slowly clearing out the vault by releasing tracks off his B-Sides series, including the most recent “No Rappers” ft. E-40 & “Too Loud” ft. Nef The Pharaoh, but one glimpse at his Instagram reveals he may be preparing for something more to come…
