Foot Locker x Fred Jordan Missions Back-to-School Giveaway happened this weekend on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles. On Saturday, Sept. 28, more than 3,000 children received new sneakers from Foot Locker, lunch from In-N-Out, haircuts from Paul Mitchell, hygiene kits, backpacks and clothing. Over 100 Foot Locker “Stripers” volunteered their time, and local media/influencers got the opportunity to “earn their stripes” as well, donning Foot Locker striper uniforms during the experience.
For over 30 years, Foot Locker has partnered with Fred Jordan Missions to prepare local LA children for the back to school season, especially on an area like Skid Row, where unfortunately most families are experiencing poverty or homelessness.
