PUMA is debuting its newest basketball sneaker ahead of the 2019-20 season: the Clyde Hardwood.
PUMA Hoops and New York Knicks Stars, Walt Clyde Frazier, RJ Barrett, and Kevin Knox officially unveiled the Clyde Hardwood sneakers in NYC last night. The shoe is Inspired by the original PUMA Clyde sneakers that Frazier wore on the court in the 70s, and joining the brand’s iconic Clyde franchise, the Clyde Hardwood boasts an OG look paying tribute to PUMA’s rich sports heritage while designed with a lifestyle-first inspired construction. Updated to include today’s latest performance technology, the result is a perfect hybrid shoe, designed to be worn seamlessly on and off the court.

The Clyde Hardwood launch comes ahead of the start of the upcoming season and on the heels of the brand’s announcement of their latest player signee to the PUMA Hoops’ NBA roster, RJ Barrett. Players will debut the Hardwood sneakers on-court at the start of the NBA season on October 22nd. You can cop a pair, retailing for $120, the Clyde Hardwood will come in three different colorways and be available in-stores and online at PUMA.com starting October 18th.
