NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns and CoD World Champion Scump Take Home the Win at the First-Ever MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL Celebrity PRO-AM Tournament
Gaming Duo Receives Prize of $25,000 to Donate Toward The AbleGamers Charity
The MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL today hosted the first-ever Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PRO-AM tournament in Long Beach, CA. The event brought together some of the biggest names in music, sports and entertainment alongside CoD professionals in an exciting tournament, including:
- Karl-Anthony Towns and Scump
- T-Pain and FormaL
- Ajiona Alexus and Aydan
- Blake Anderson and Priestahh
- Vince Staples and H3CZ
- D’Angelo Russell and Shroud

Players tried out a series of traditional 6v6 multiplayer matches, as well as the game’s intense new Gunfight 2v2 mode, more than a month before the epic title’s Oct. 25 release. The lively gameplay culminated in an epic showdown between T-Pain and FormaL versus Karl-Anthony Towns and Scump. Ultimately, KAT and Scump took home the big win – which featured a prize of $25,000 to donate toward The AbleGamers Charity, MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL swag, and, of course – bragging rights. A secondary donation of $10,000 will also be contributed to the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE).
