Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan XXXIV during a community event in Harlem, NYC with a surprise appearance from family members Zion Williamson, Asia Durr, and Kia Nurse.
The AJ XXXIV delivers a distinctly Jumpman perspective on providing the best shoe for basketball’s future stars.
The innovative shoe was designed by stripping away non-essential material to leave athletes only what they need to perform at their best. Jordan Brand collected feedback on last year’s AJ XXXIII to produce a product for athletes playing above the rim – making them more explosive and more successful.

The shoe showcases:
- An Eclipse Plate – formed by two Pebax pieces and a forefoot Zoom Air unit, with herringbone traction pattern – providing optimal explosion off the foot
- Limited Upper – heel counter, tongue, eyestay and midfoot reinforcer – showcasing the purest form of a basketball shoe
The Air Jordan XXXIV will be worn by select Jordan Brand athletes and partner high school and collegiate teams – the shoe lands September 25.

RESPECT: Which Air Jordan is your favorite all-time?
Asia: My favorite Air Jordan shoe would have to be the 11’s. I love them all.
Kia: My favorite right now is the “Mushroom 4” that’s coming out, it just goes with everything and it’s very comfortable.
