Inspire the Fire is excited to announce that Jonathan and Natalie Stewart will be hosting their annual fall ball, presented by cbdMD, this year on Friday, September 27, 2019, held at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, NC. The Inspire the Fire Ball will be a 90s-themed event to help raise funds to support their mission.
Last year’s star-studded event boasted guests such as Steve Smith Sr., Luke Kuechly, Kawaan Short, Ryan Kalil, Cameron Artis-Payne, Devon Funchess and Mike Tolbert. The event also received support from big names who were unable to attend such as Christian McCaffrey, who donated a children’s pizza party that sold for $9,000. This year’s event is expected to have several of the same Charlotte celebrities along with some new faces.
Inspire the Fire, Inc. is a non-profit organization with the mission of helping young people succeed on stage and in life. They provide students aged 10-18 years artistic development, life skills, and community engagement coaching. Each participant, or “Young Professional” as they call them, is required to choose an artistic major of concentration. Current majors include dance, voice, theater, spoken word, rap, and visual arts. Young Professionals are guided in their major and supported by the entire team to learn and grow as individuals. Awarded “Inspire the Fire Day” by the Mayor, “Community Group of the Year” by Leadership Charlotte, and Finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” the program continues to reach the youth of all walks of life as it seeks to inspire positive change.
“These kids have real talent, all they need is someone to believe and invest in them. With a support system like ITF, their potential is limitless. Anything I can do to help them achieve their dreams, sign me up!” says Jonathan Stewart on why he and wife, Natalie, think it’s important to give their time to causes like Inspire the Fire.
