New York, NY – August 16th, 2019 – Today, multi-platinum brother duo DVBBS releases their second single of the year “Need U” featuring vocals from ½ of the duo, Alex van den Hoef. This will be the third time Alex has been vocally present on a track following “Gold Skies” with Martin Garrix and Sander van Doorn and “You Found Me feat. Belly”.
“Need U” opens up with an elated melody as the laidback vocals whisk you away into a happy, amorous state. The beat remains consistent anchoring the track, leading up to the chorus with a hopeless romantic plea “Need U forever, forever, forever…” This marks Alex’s second vocal feature on a DVBBS song and displays his effortless, luscious sound, enhanced by electronic production making for an ideal vibe on a carefree summer day.
“That feeling you get when summer is coming to an end, but the memories you made will last a lifetime….’Need U’ verbalizes that feeling,” said DVBBS. “The nostalgic DVBBS vocals over our production is the formula we started with and nothing feels better than giving our day ones something brand new in 2019. Need U forever forever is one we will sing until the end together.”
DVBBS continues to generate momentum following the success attached to their previous release in May “GOMF,” which has accumulated 16M+ streams (http://ffm.to/gomf) to date and 2M+ combined video views. The viral hit, encountered by famed viner Casey Frey, lent to a national dance movement with the title of “the ole dance.” Initially, Frey made a video in which he is seen utilizing his amusing multi-character style as he dances to “GOMF.” Additionally, a flash mob of the dance was done in New York City in June to continue the movement.
This summer/fall, the brothers will embark on a multi-city tour, hitting the following markets with surprise guests. See below for routing and click here to purchase tickets.
