Today, 3X Grammy-Award nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter 6lack released the visuals for “Seasons” [featuring Khalid], which embodies summer nostalgia and time spent with loved ones. “Seasons” appeared on 6lack’s critically acclaimed sophomore album East Atlanta Love Letter via LVRN/Interscope Records.
From a pair on the beach, to a mother and child, to a father-daughter dynamic, the “Seasons” video shows different scenarios between friends and family which further exemplify the theme of love and relationships the 6lack hoped to explore on EALL. NPR once described the track as “a farewell-to-summer song amid murky pianos and wallowing strings,” while the visuals depict the importance of unity and a light at the end of the tunnel.
