South Central native Trev Deshon has officially released his debut album Stressin’, featuring Casey Veggies, Garren, Xian Bell, and more. On the debut feature, Trev opens up about his combative journey into adulthood, growing up in South Central; finding success in the music industry; and discussing the relatable woes of keeping patient while watching others become successful, accompanied with the many distractions that’ll keep one from a positive path. Coupled with the album’s release, Trev dropped off the video to his Garren and Xian Bell-assist “Greedy,” which was premiered via POWER 106 LA.
As a transparent lyricist who prides himself on remaining raw, authentic and genuine in his music, Trev continues to carry the baton into his debut effort. While beginning his adult career as an actor, the multi-talented rapper by chance ended up in music — and his latest feat proves that his spot in the industry is truly warranted.
The project, which spawned its first two singles, “Patience,” whose video was premiered via Home Grown Radio, and “Greedy“, featuring Garren and Xian Bell, follows Trev’s January 2019 EP, Goodnight; which saw premieres with Rosecrans Ave for its first single and South Central LA tribute, “Bret Harte,” and POWER 106 LA, for its second single “Highs N Lows (feat. BonifAce).” Prior to, Trev has dropped several projects and has previously collaborated with West Coast staple Casey Veggies on the record “To the Top,” plus, TDE’s Reason, and producer DJ Wes.
