Vic Mensa has just announced Heads & Tails, a co-headlining US tour with Jesse Rutherford (of The Neighbourhood). For each night of the 14 date tour the headliner will be determined by a coin toss.
For the tour Vic will be performing new music by 93PUNX, his new outlet that experiments with some of his rock influences via an anthemic and singular fusion of alternative rock, rap, and punk. The project made waves last week when they shared their first song/video, “Camp America,” a poignant and scathing critique of the current administration’s family separation immigration policy. The impact of the video led to an interview with Ari Melber on MSNBC’s The Beat, in addition to widespread condemnation across the right wing media spectrum, including The Daily Mail, Breitbart, and more.
