Under Armour has launched a special edition colorway of their HOVR SLK shoes for PRIDE Month. The brand’s hope is that the vibrant, rainbow-splashed shoes will support marchers in Pride parades all across the country, and act as a reminder of the journey still ahead.
Part of Under Armour’s mission is to stand for equality, and the brand is committed to supporting LGBTQ athletes. In addition to the HOVR SLK colorway launch, UA has also designed a “United We Win” apparel collection, and is continuing their partnership with Athlete Ally, providing financial and strategic support to the athlete advocacy group, a nonprofit aimed at educating and activating athletic communities to eliminate homophobia and transphobia in sports.
Under Armour will also be sponsoring the Pride parades in Baltimore, Austin and World Pride in NYC, as well as participating in the San Francisco Pride, to celebrate Under Armour’s ongoing commitment to equality, justice and opportunity for all.
