Brazilian footwear brand, Rider Sandals, teams up with online global music platform, NTS, to create an exclusive product collaboration dropping June 29, as well as hosting an international event series – the Outsiders Summer Tour – on from June 29 to the end of July.
Rider Sandals, known for over 30 years of creativity and self-expression, comes together with NTS to reimagine Rider’s core silhouette, the R-Next Sandal. The R-Next – Rider x NTS Sandal will offer a hybrid option through unique NTS branding, custom elements, and can be used as a sandal or a slide. The design features black straps that cross at the upper with the iconic NTS logo embroidery, and a gum color insole injected with EVA: cool and comfy is our mantra. The R-Next sandal will debut exclusively online June 29, 2019 at https://shop.nts.live and available for purchase on-site during the Outsiders Summer Tour.
The Outsiders Summer Tour will be a series of events, celebrating both brands’ shared values of inclusivity, community and the “outsiders” that continuously test the set limitations in art, fashion and music. Each Summer tour date starts with an in-store radio broadcast and flows into a club night in each city. In-store, guests can win tickets to the events and shop the exclusive R-Next – Rider x NTS sandal. Artists vary from city to city with eclectic line-ups, celebrating the local scenes and unique sounds.
The tour kicks off in Berlin, Germany (June 29, 2019) with an in-store live radio pop-up at Superconscious featuring Yung Sherman of Drain Gang. Following the in-store event, a genre-bending night taking place at Acud will feature unique musical talent from the extended NTS family such as DJ Kesh alongside Swedish rapper and autotune warlock, Bladee.
Outsiders continues on to Lisbon (July 7, 2019), London (July 12, 2019) and rounds out in Los Angeles at the end of July, date to be revealed soon. Each city will host its own in-store broadcast and after-party.
