PUMA and CHINATOWN MARKET are teaming up for a sports-inspired collection featuring classic slogans and bold graphics. The partnership will recreate PUMA’s modern and iconic silhouettes while fusing CHINATOWN MARKET’s daring and funky aesthetic, inspired by New York City’s famed Canal Street. Designer, Mike Cherman added various DIY elements throughout the collection, including interchangeable graphics and patches.
Pre-launching on CHINATOWN MARKET’s site starting this week, the apparel and sneakers will be available and dropping in limited quantities leading up to the global launch on July 11th. One of the highly anticipated designs in the collection is the PUMA x CHINATOWN MARKET Ralph Sampson Lo. Named after the iconic NBA player, Ralph Sampson, the classic silhouette is given a fun twist through removable and interchangeable Formstrips, adding to the unique DIY experience. Available in both white and black, the sneakers will retail for $120 and will be the only style sold in the U.S. on PUMA.com starting on 7/11.
