Years ago, the off-the-chart decibel levels of Dub Nation during Golden State Warriors home games resulted in the nickname Roaracle for Oracle Arena. Over the past 10 years in The Town, Stephen Curry and his teammates took to the court night in and night out, playing proudly to the spirited energy of Oracle Arena – known to all as the League’s loudest arena.
Stephen himself has shared that the thunderous chants and cheers at Roaracle created an energy that fueled him every game day. No matter whether the team was up or down, and particularly during their final bow at Oracle Arena during the 2018-2019 season, the fan love was strong. This loyalty and ongoing support never wavered over the past 10 years for Stephen, and it is Dub Nation all around the world that he is celebrating with the introduction of the Curry 6 Roaracle colorway.
The colorway is an unmistakable bright red upper with a neon-green outsole, with a decibel meter located on the midsole behind the SC logo; inspired by the thundering decibel levels of Oracle Arena, and a nod to the support of Dub Nation that is found across the world. The sockliner references “Roar” and “This is Our House,” and the tongue also features a decibel meter, as the Warriors bid adieu to their longtime home of Oracle Arena.
Limited pairs of the Curry 6 Roaracle colorway will release across Japan, China, North America and select cities worldwide beginning June 21, 2019 as the 2019 Under Armour Basketball Asia Tour readies for take off.
