Foot Locker released “The Letter” – a continuation of its “Discover Your Air” creative platform for Nike Air product. The latest digital spot showcases just how far someone will go to get their hands on a coveted pair of Nike Air Max shoes.
“The Letter” features the ultimate sneakerhead, Houston Rockets forward, P.J. Tucker, singer and model Pia Mia, and actor JD McCrary. The three are seen opening fan mail, pleading for an opportunity to meet their favorite star. In lieu of a meeting, the “fan” says they’d be willing to accept a pair of coveted Nike Air sneakers from Foot Locker instead. The spot closes on the “fan” in a room full of sneakers, ranging from the Air Max 95 to Air Max Plus, as they fulfill what they believe to be a budding sneakerhead’s dreams.
The campaign launched this week and aired during the live broadcast of the NBA Draft. The full collection of Air Max silhouettes featured in The Letter is available on footlocker.com, at Foot Locker stores around the country and through shoppable Instagram posts.
