Today, NBA MVP (2016-17), All-Star, and fashion icon Russell Westbrook announces the first limited-edition collaboration for a good cause from his Honor The Gift brand. The focus for Honor The Gift’s first collaboration wasn’t about product or material things but focused on a cause both Russell and Honor The Gift are passionate about, the arts. 100% of the proceeds from this project will be donated to Los Angeles’ Inner-City Arts, a program that is widely regarded as one of the nation’s most effective arts education providers located in the heart of Skid Row, to help the kids of the Inner City to pursue their creative expression. One of HTG’s fundamental values as a brand is honoring true creative expression, so they partnered with two institutions that showcase this to their core – Advisory Board Crystals (Abc.), an experimental brand founded by couple Heather Haber and Remington Guest that focuses on clothing, accessories, and special projects while being rooted in themes such as the intersection of art and science, old Hollywood, and crystals, and Inner-City Arts as there are no better examples of that freedom to express. Both of which not only value the power of creativity, but also cultivate it in our youth. This is just the start of HTG’s pursuit of meaningful projects and collaborations.
