PUMA is unveiling its third iteration of LQD CELL’s debut silhouette: LQD CELL Origin. The newest LQD CELL Origin features a classic white base with pops of shades of blue and electric yellow – creating a classic yet bold look you can’t take your eyes off of this summer.
An evolution of PUMA’s CELL running technology that first debuted in the 90s, LQD CELL’s innovative technology first debuted last month and features hexagonal cells that compress and work together with ProFoam to keep you steady while providing ultimate comfort. This CELL technology is outwardly visible on the outsole and backheel of the shoe, highlighting the technology in a bold and unexpected way. Other features include an exaggerated height and shape of the collar for a disruptive shelf appeal, mixed materials on the upper inspired by PUMA’s OG Superfly II from the 90s, and full rubber coverage on the outsole for maximum traction and durability without slowing you down.
The LQD CELL Origin will be available in stores and at PUMA.com starting this Thursday 5/16 and will retail for $110.
