As part of its continued dedication to celebrating the life and legacy of Dylan Rieder, HUF is honored to announce the release of the 4th Edition of the Dylan Driver shoe. This special release, in celebration of Dylan’s 31st birthday on May 26, has been updated with a full grain metallic leather upper and is limited to 150 pairs worldwide.
A signature-loafer developed under Dylan’s close direction before his untimely passing, the Dylan Driver is an enduring testament to his distinguished style and charisma.
Handcrafted in the U.S., the upper is composed with a full grain metallic leather and features a luxurious lambskin interior lining and footbed. The silhouette sits atop a soft and supportive EVA midsole with a Vibram-rubber outsole for superior traction. Debossed HUF branding accents the upper while Dylan’s insignia and a custom inscription in gold foil adorns the insole.
The Dylan Driver retails for $250 and will release exclusively at HUF stores on May 26, 2019, and their online store on May 28, 2019. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Rieder family.
In addition to the release, HUF commemorates the life of Dylan with a photo show this Friday, May 24th, featuring portraits shot by Atiba Jefferson, Ryan Allen, John Bradford, Jonathan Mehring, Andrew Peters, Chris Searl, Brian Kelley, and Mark Oblow.
