“Super Villain” Is The First Single Off Steven G’s Highly Anticipated ShowGreat 3 Mixtape Due Out This Month
Tribute to Crenshaw’s Own, The Late Great Nipsey Hussle at the End of Video
Today, Crenshaw rapper, singer/songwriter Steven G drops his newest music video “Super Villain” off his forthcoming ShowGreat 3 mixtape, set to drop on May 31st via EMPIRE and ArtClub International.
Directed by Top Shelf Junior , The video depicts the Los Angeles neighborhood Steven grew up in by taking us through historic places like Crenshaw High school, Yee’s Chinese Food, and the streets of Slauson Ave. Lyrics such as “tell them [bleep] I ain’t nothin’ to play with / Y’all got stripes then why the fuck y’all ain’t on Gangland / I got shot they like “watch who you hang with” … is a testament to the swagger and attitude one must carry in South LA, while trying to stay on the right path to be an artist that strives to put on for his gritty hometown.
