On Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, LYT, in collaboration with LA Weekly celebrated Coachella weekend in the desert at the LA Weekly Festival Hotel.
Held at the Korakia Pensione hotel, the inaugural gathering featured a wide array of celebrities, influencers, artists, musicians, chefs, fashion designers, art installations, health & wellness programs, and craft drinks. Lyt and LA Weekly also had special surprises in store for this select group of invitees and VIPs. During Friday’s event, LA Weekly held its first-ever cannabis competition with specialized cannabis education experts in the industry. Saturday hosted the recovery brunch which included specialties by renowned LA restaurants, “hair of the dog” cocktails, and even IV drips to help festival-goers.
Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross socialized with VIPs and other celebs by the pool of the Korakia Pensione opting to skip the festival on Friday and Saturday for relaxing out in the sun minus their two adorable children. Evan toasted to his wife by the DJ booth calling her the “Dancing Queen.” The couple who recently launched as a duo looked stylish in loose-fitting boiler suits.
Cuba Gooding Jr. walked amongst the grounds with friends and mingled with fans even stopping for selfies.
Jasmine Sanders and Karrueche Tran danced around the pool with friends sporting their most fashionable festival looks.
Brooke Hogan and her brother Nick reunited for a weekend of fun in the sun and took photos in the Lyt ‘Box experience. Brooke recently moved to Nashville leaving the chaos of LA behind for a simpler life of cowboys boots and line dancing.
