“Being involved with the community that’s what it’s all about” – Josh Norman
“It just shows we still have a lot of work to do, it’s sad that had to happen for people to realize how impactful of a person he was. We gotta start realizing that while we living—- right now. He touched everybody just by what he was doing in his community. I was all the way in Greece when I got the news, and it touched me there” – Josh Norman, Washington Redskins on Nipsey Hussle’s passing
“If I’m being honest, I didn’t know everything he was doing. Just to see the impact he had after his passing and the outcry, the call of action and what people are saying about him it’s touching. Like after his death I’ve gained so much respect for him because I didn’t know what he was doing.” – Renee Montgomery
“It’s just tragic to see a young black brother gone from violence” – Tre Boston
Cam Newton also had some fun with the crowd and signed autographs after the basketball game.
