Chaos, as defined by Merriam-Webster, is a state of utter confusion; the inherent unpredictability in the behavior of a complex natural system. Every March, that system is the NCAA Tournament, where chaos is unleashed by hungry and determined student athletes striving for the ultimate prize; their chance to upend expectations and prove the so-called experts wrong. Last year, it was University of Maryland Baltimore-County, becoming the first ever 16 seed to knock out a number 1. This year, it could be anyone, but rest assured the women’s and men’s Under Armour schools are ready to unleash chaos all over again.
With a UA record 29 total teams – 12 women’s and 17 men’s – UA hoops fans will witness 18 Conference Champions and 11 at-large schools attempt to cut down the net and advance to the next bracket.
