Homecourt Detroit is an eight-minute feature paying homage to UA athlete Josh Jackson’s hometown of Detroit and explores the past, current and future of basketball culture in the city. Hosted by Sarunas Jackson (“Insecure”), Homecourt Detroit let’s our viewer ride shotgun through the streets of Detroit to explore what makes hooping in The Motor City one-of-a-kind. Through this feature we explore local hotspots that nurtured basketball culture and its players—from Saint Cecilia’s and Joe Dumars Fieldhouse—to today’s Detroit talent who have basketball to thank for shaping their grit, determination and success, such as rapper Sada Baby, pro boxer and founder of Superbad Fitness Tony Harrison, entrepreneur Tommey Walker of Detroit vs. Everybody, and more. Lastly we round out Homecourt Detroit with the future of basketball—the rising girl’s basketball team at UPrep Academy.
Through Homecourt Detroit, Under Armour Basketball peels back the layers of a city long slept on, hoping to provide basketball fans and young players a cinematic love-letter to Detroit’s most iconic basketball gyms, revered local voices and cultural landmarks.

Soundtrack to the Game, a 10-part content series that brings Under Armour’s dedication to making athletes better to the digital screen. First launched under Under Armour’s football division with trainer “The Foot Doctor”, UA is now bringing this series to basketball with one of NBA’s go-to trainers, Chris Brickley, along with highlighting an up-and-coming music artist or producer on each episode to get athletes get in the zone. We know the Under Armour athlete is all about focus and dedication—they put their headphones on and get their mind in the game when they train. Soundtrack to the Game celebrates the relationship athletes have with the music that motivates them with an original content series that pairs industry-leading training sessions with emerging music artists, showing how closely the two worlds are intertwined. Music artists including Tate Kobang, TK Kravitz, Tae Fresh, and more.
The first two episodes of Soundtrack to the Game are now streaming on Under Armour’s Youtube channel, with the last eight episodes slated to roll out through January 2019.
